Transparency
We operate openly, honestly, and under independent oversight. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Our Commitment
A Word on Our History
In 2015, an investigative report raised serious concerns about the management and welfare of children at this home. We acknowledge that report. The findings described failures that should never have occurred, and we do not minimise them.
Following the investigation, the home was closed for review by Ghana's Department of Social Welfare, staff were held accountable, and a process of structural reform was undertaken. The home that operates today is fundamentally different in its governance, oversight, and commitment to child welfare.
We share this history not to put it behind us, but because transparency demands it. Any organisation that works with vulnerable children must be willing to be scrutinised — and to answer for its past as well as its present.
If you have questions about this history, our reforms, or current operations, we welcome them. Please contact us directly.
