Our Children

Every child here has a name, a story, and a future worth investing in.

Who We Care For

Orphaned, Abandoned & Vulnerable Children

The children in our care range from infants to young adults. Some have lost both parents. Others were abandoned or came from families too fragile to provide basic safety. A number attend school at the home but return to their families during holidays.

What they all share is a need for stability โ€” a consistent roof, reliable meals, adults who show up every day, and the opportunity to simply be a child.

Our goal is not to replace families, but to provide the care and foundation that helps every child eventually thrive โ€” whether they return to family, are placed in alternative care, or grow into independent adults.

How We Care for Every Child

๐Ÿ“š

Education

All children attend local schools in Bawjiase. The home covers school fees, uniforms, books, and stationery. Older students are supported through senior high school and vocational training.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

Nutrition

Children receive three meals a day. The home's on-site garden and farm โ€” growing vegetables, fruit, and raising poultry โ€” supplements the daily diet with fresh, locally grown food.

๐Ÿฅ

Healthcare

Regular health check-ups, vaccinations, and dental visits are provided in partnership with local health clinics. A healthcare coordinator tracks each child's medical records.

โšฝ

Recreation & Play

Children participate in sports, arts, music, and cultural activities. Play is not a luxury โ€” it is central to healthy childhood development.

๐Ÿค

Emotional Support

Trained caregivers provide consistent emotional support to help children process trauma and build secure attachments and healthy relationships.

๐ŸŒฑ

Life Skills

Older children learn practical life skills โ€” cooking, farming, budgeting, and community responsibility โ€” to prepare them for independent adult life.

A Note on Privacy
